Lara New York is a luxury formalwear house founded in 1982 with a simple belief: when a woman has something important to celebrate, she deserves a dress that feels as exceptional as the moment itself.

What began as a family business became a lifelong craft—refined over decades through fabric selection, fit development, and meticulous construction. In 2012, siblings Herman and Jasmine stepped in to carry the brand forward, modernizing Lara for a new generation and launching Lara.com to bring our designs directly to women everywhere.

Today, Lara New York is known for Mother of the Bride, bridal, prom, and cocktail pieces designed to photograph beautifully, move effortlessly, and fit with confidence. Our signature is detail: intricate beadwork, flattering structure, and intentional design that elevates every silhouette.
